1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using minSync, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. Service Description

minSync is a mobile client for self-hosted MinIO (S3-compatible) object storage. The app connects directly to your MinIO server to provide file browsing, streaming, and background synchronization. Our backend services provide authentication, sync coordination, and push notifications.

3. Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and your MinIO server configuration. You must provide accurate information when creating an account.

4. Free and Paid Tiers

minSync offers a free tier with limited features and paid tiers (Pro, Enterprise) with additional capabilities:

Free: 1 server, 2 devices, manual sync, file browsing
Pro: 5 servers, 10 devices, automatic background sync, E2E encryption
Enterprise: Unlimited servers and devices, all Pro features, dedicated support

5. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions

One-time purchases: The Pro Lifetime purchase grants permanent access to Pro features. It does not expire and is non-recurring.

Auto-renewable subscriptions: Pro Annual and Enterprise Annual subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each subscription period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the current period ends.

Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase
Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your device's App Store or Google Play settings
Any unused portion of a free trial period is forfeited upon purchasing a subscription

6. License Keys

License keys may be provided for enterprise and direct sales. Keys are single-use and tied to one account upon activation. License keys may have an expiration date as specified at time of purchase.

7. Refunds

Refunds for in-app purchases and subscriptions are handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) per their respective refund policies. We do not process refunds directly. If a refund is granted, your access to paid features will be revoked.

8. Your Data and Privacy

Your use of minSync is also governed by our Privacy Policy. minSync connects directly to your MinIO server — your files never pass through our infrastructure.

9. Your Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for your MinIO server infrastructure, security, and data
You must not use minSync for illegal activities
You must not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or exploit the app
You must not interfere with our backend services

10. Limitation of Liability

minSync is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for data loss, server downtime, or any damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months preceding any claim.

11. Service Modifications

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice for changes that materially affect paid subscribers.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of minSync after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
